We provide a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where students and staff can seek professional guidance to overcome personal, academic, emotional, and social challenges.

Our counselling services include:
Mental Health Awareness Programmes
Regular awareness sessions, workshops, and campaigns are organized to promote mental well-being, reduce stigma surrounding mental health, and encourage early help-seeking among students and staff.
Academic Staff Development
Counselling-based training programmes are conducted for academic staff to strengthen their ability to identify, understand, and support students experiencing psychological or personal difficulties, contributing to improved student well-being and academic success.
Individual Psychological Counselling
Professional counselling is available for students experiencing emotional distress, mental health concerns, relationship difficulties, academic challenges, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and other personal issues.
Targeted Group Counselling
Specialized counselling and support programms are conducted for groups of students facing specific challenges, helping them develop resilience, healthy coping strategies, and positive behavioural changes.
Stress-Free Examination Preparation
During examination periods, students are offered stress management workshops, relaxation sessions, mindfulness activities, and practical strategies to improve concentration, confidence, and emotional well-being while preparing for examinations.
Awareness Programmes for the Security Staff & Support Programmes for Minor Staff
Training sessions & Well-being programmes are conducted for the campus security services division and minor staff to enhance awareness of student safety, crisis management, promote teamwork & workplace wellness. These programmes help in creating secure and supportive environment to the university community.
Through these and many other initiatives, the Counselling Unit plays an active role in fostering a healthy, inclusive, and supportive university community where every individual is encouraged to thrive academically, emotionally, and personally.
