Sri Lanka Technology Campus (SLTC) has taken another significant step in advancing its internationalisation agenda by entering into a strategic partnership with Changshin University, South Korea, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the Changshin University Korean Language Centre @ SLTC.
The partnership marks an important milestone in strengthening educational and cultural ties between Sri Lanka and South Korea, while creating new opportunities for SLTC students and the wider community to gain international exposure, develop Korean language proficiency, and explore pathways towards global education and career opportunities.
A New Gateway to Korean Language and Culture
The newly established Changshin University Korean Language Centre @ SLTC is envisioned as a platform for accessible and quality Korean language education in Sri Lanka. Through the Centre, learners will have the opportunity to develop their Korean language skills while gaining greater insight into Korean culture, society, and educational opportunities.
The initiative is expected to serve as an important foundation for future programmes and activities connecting students with academic opportunities, cultural exchange, international mobility, and potential study and career pathways in South Korea.

Looking Towards a Stronger Future Together
The partnership with Changshin University represents an important addition to SLTC’s expanding international portfolio and creates a platform for future collaboration between the two institutions.
As the Changshin University Korean Language Centre @ SLTC moves towards its next phase, both institutions look forward to developing a range of initiatives that will benefit students, academics, and the wider community, while strengthening the educational and cultural relationship between Sri Lanka and South Korea.
