Working closely with the Faculties and other administrative departments the Unit provides timely guidance and efficient administrative support on all enrolment related matters while maintaining the integrity accuracy and security of student academic and enrolment records The Unit also supports academic governance by coordinating enrolment processes conducting graduation eligibility audits and providing accurate enrolment data and reports to facilitate institutional planning quality assurance and regulatory compliance

New Student Enrolment

The Enrolment and Registration Unit coordinates the enrolment of newly admitted students by verifying entry qualifications and eligibility processing registrations issuing student registration numbers and facilitating access to essential University systems and services to ensure a smooth transition into university life

Semester and Repeat Registration

The Unit manages semester registrations and repeat module enrolments ensuring that students are registered for the appropriate modules in accordance with their programme structure and academic regulations Guidance is provided on registration procedures deadlines module selection and repeat registration requirements

Programme Changes and Student Status Management

The Unit processes requests relating to programme transfers deferment of studies resumption of studies withdrawals and de registration ensuring that all applications are processed in accordance with University regulations and approved procedures

Exemptions Credit Transfers and Bridging Programmes

The Unit coordinates applications for module exemptions credit transfers recognition of prior learning where applicable and bridging programmes in collaboration with the relevant Faculties ensuring that all applications comply with approved academic policies and regulations

Prior to each graduation the Enrolment and Registration Unit conducts comprehensive graduation eligibility audits to verify that students have fulfilled all academic and administrative requirements for the award of their qualifications The audit process includes verification of entry qualifications and compliance with Campus regulations before students are recommended for the award of qualifications through the appropriate academic approval process

Student Letters and Enrolment Verification
