SLTC is proud to offer vibrant student exchange opportunities through strategic partnerships with universities across the globe. These programs allow students to study abroad for a semester or more, gaining academic credits while immersing themselves in diverse cultural and educational environments.
SLTC warmly welcomes international students to our campus in Sri Lanka through exchange opportunities within our undergraduate programs. These experiences enrich our campus community and promote intercultural learning. We are also committed to expanding outbound exchange options for SLTC students by actively seeking new collaborations with international partner institutions. Each exchange experience is designed to be transformative—broadening horizons, building global competence, and shaping future-ready graduates.

Global Experience at SLTC | Student Voices from Norway
We are proud to highlight the Student Exchange Programme between Kristiania University College, Norway and SLTC — a collaboration that promotes international exposure, cross-cultural learning, and meaningful global experiences for students.
As part of this initiative, two international students from Kristiania University College joined the Faculty of Computing and IT at SLTC from 21 April 2025 to 30 September 2025. During their exchange, they gained hands-on academic experience while immersing themselves in Sri Lanka's diverse cultural and learning environment.

SLTC × AISSMS IOIT Cultural Exchange Program
SLTC successfully hosted a Cultural Exchange Programme with AISSMS Institute of Information Technology (AISSMS IOIT), India, from 10–14 November 2025, fostering cross-cultural understanding, friendship, and international collaboration among students and faculty members.
The AISSMS delegation comprised two faculty members — Mr. Amit H. Raheja, Assistant Professor in Applied Science & Engineering, and Mr. Mahesh Balasaheb Nigade, Assistant Professor in Applied Science & Engineering — along with three students: Mr. Anshul Khele, Mr. Shreyas Jadhav, and Mr. Prajwal Suryawanshi.
During their visit, the delegation engaged with the SLTC community through cultural activities, academic interactions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. They also participated in the International Research Conference (IRC) 2025 and the SLTC Research and Innovation Awards 2025, gaining exposure to SLTC's research and innovation ecosystem.
SLTC extends its sincere appreciation to the AISSMS IOIT delegation, students, faculty members, and organisers for contributing to the success of this memorable cultural exchange experience.
MBA Study Tour to India 2026: Industry Exposure & Global Academic Engagement
As part of the MBA programme, SLTC successfully organized an academic and industrial study tour to India from 11–16 April 2026, providing students with valuable international exposure.
A key highlight of the visit was the industry tour to Medha Servo Drives Private Limited in Hyderabad, a leading global provider of advanced propulsion and electronic systems for rolling stock. This experience offered students direct insight into industrial operations, technological innovation, and contemporary industry practices.
The programme also included an academic visit to Vellore Institute of Technology, a leading technology-focused university in India, where students engaged with the Business School and were exposed to industry-aligned learning approaches. This included an understanding of how MBA education integrates business analytics, strategic thinking, and real-world case studies to meet evolving industry needs, further strengthening their global academic perspective and professional outlook. In addition, the students' visit to Goa provided valuable exposure to tourism enhancing their understanding of tourism management concepts and marketing.
