Program Management Unit (PMU)
The Program Management Unit (PMU) is the central coordinating body responsible for the seamless planning, coordination, and management of academic Programs at Sri Lanka Technology Campus (SLTC). As a key partner in the University's academic operations, the PMU ensures the seamless delivery of programs that support SLTC's commitment to academic excellence, innovation, quality assurance, and student-centered learning.

What We Do
Academic Program Management
The PMU oversees the operational planning and coordination of academic Programs, ensuring that teaching and learning activities are delivered according to approved academic calendars, Program structures, and institutional standards.
Timetabling and Resource Coordination
The Unit develops comprehensive lecture timetables, coordinates classroom and laboratory allocations, and optimizes the use of academic facilities to provide a smooth and efficient learning experience for students and staff.
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
The PMU administers the University's Learning Management System (LMS), supporting a technology-enabled learning environment that enhances teaching, learning, and student engagement. The Unit manages module creation, user access, course delivery, learning resources, assessments, and academic communication while promoting the effective use of digital learning technologies across the University.
Operational Excellence
Working collaboratively with faculties and support divisions, the PMU coordinates academic operations, minimizes scheduling conflicts, and ensures the effective utilization of institutional resources while maintaining operational efficiency across the University.
Student and Faculty Support
The PMU serves as a vital link between students, academic staff, faculties, and administrative departments. By facilitating effective communication, providing operational support, and responding proactively to academic and administrative matters, the Unit helps create a positive and well-coordinated academic experience for all stakeholders.
