The Faculty of Postgraduate Studies & Research (FPSR) at Sri Lanka Technology Campus serves as the visionary strategist for advancing postgraduate education and research. FPSR integrates academic pursuits with industry to foster an ecosystem of innovation and discovery. FPSR is primarily responsible for overseeing postgraduate education and research & development within the institute. Postgraduate education is managed by the Board of Studies, while research activities are governed by the Research Cell. The faculty supervises graduate admissions, fellowships, grants, academic employment, mentoring, professional development, academic progress, and degree milestones. Additionally, FPSR collaborates with the Office for Research and Innovation Services (ORIS) and the Office of Sponsored Research & Technology Transfer to enhance research initiatives. The Dean of Faculty of Postgraduate Studies & Research oversees the faculty’s operations, which play a critical role in defining SLTC’s image.

To establish internationally accredited postgraduate taught and research programs in emerging and traditional disciplines of engineering, business, science, and technology. FPSR aims to lead as a research-intensive higher educational institute. FPSR strives for global recognition as a competitive, excellent, inclusive, and innovative institution, dedicated to advancing knowledge for the betterment of society.

Welcome to the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Research (FPSR) at Sri Lanka Technology Campus.
The Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Research (FPSR) serves as a hub for advanced learning, innovation, and impactful research, bringing together scholars, researchers, and industry partners to address contemporary challenges and contribute to knowledge creation. Our mission is to foster a vibrant academic environment that supports high-quality postgraduate education while promoting research that is relevant to industry, society, and national development.
At FPSR, we offer a range of postgraduate programs designed to equip professionals and aspiring researchers with advanced knowledge, analytical skills, and the capacity to generate innovative solutions. Our programs are guided by a strong commitment to academic excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and global engagement.
Research is a cornerstone of our faculty and the university.
