Biography

Gevindu Pushpakumara is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Business Management, Sri Lanka Technology Campus, and an active researcher. He holds an MSc in Management from the School of Economics, Business and Law, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and a First-Class BSc in Accounting from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is an Associate Member of CIMA, UK, a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), a Full Member of CPA Australia, and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM), UK. With industry experience in banking, apparel, and logistics, he brings practical insights to his academic work. Previously, he served as a Research Assistant at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He has contributed to research projects and published in internationally recognized Q1-indexed journals. His research includes circular economy, digitalization in management controls, and sustainability.
