SLTC is a non-state degree-awarding body recognized by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, and approved by the University Grants Commission — ensuring every programme meets national standards while staying relevant to where industry is heading.
We hold full membership of SLANSHI and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), and deliver pre-university, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through hands-on, research-led teaching designed to prepare students for both the local and international stage.

Academic Council
The Academic Council is responsible for the academic governance of SLTC, chaired by the Vice Chancellor, and made up of external members from academia and industry, senior management, faculty deans and representatives of the university senate.
