About the Role

The Manager - Information Technology will lead the University's IT Division, oversee operations and infrastructure, manage enterprise systems and technology projects, and deliver innovative IT solutions that support SLTC’s academic and administrative excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the University's IT Division and provide overall technical leadership.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of the University's network, servers, IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, LMS, ERP, website, email services, and digital platforms.
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of on-premises software applications.
Plan and implement IT projects, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure robust cybersecurity, data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Manage IT budgets, procurement, software licensing, and vendor relationships.
Monitor IT operations and recommend improvements to align with the University's strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

A Degree in an ICT-related field or an equivalent professional qualification.
Sound technical knowledge of cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, databases, and IT project management.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of total experience in Information Technology.

At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, servers, enterprise systems, cloud services, and on-premises software development.

Skills / Competencies

Strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to execute digital transformation and manage complex IT projects.
