Department of Data Science

The Department of Data Science at SLTC’s Faculty of Computing and IT was founded in 2021, and well it really offers a top-notch BSc Honours program. We churn out graduates with solid theoretical, technical and analytical skills ,so they are ready for the workforce. The department is guided by academic staff who are, frankly, top-notch, and it builds a sturdier research culture to tackle everyday practical problems. We also set up our graduates to become future data leaders, by promoting innovation in Sri Lanka’s ICT/BPM sector through smart public-private collaborations, specialised workshops, and premium internship pipelines.
