Miss. Wasana Rupasinghe

Biography

Eng. (Ms.) Wasana Rupasinghe is an academic and researcher in civil and structural engineering, specializing in the development of low-carbon concrete technologies and sustainable construction materials.

Ms. Rupasinghe holds a research-based Master of Science in Engineering and Technology from the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Thailand. She earned her Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering, from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, where she graduated with First Class Honors, topped her cohort, and was awarded the Department Gold Medal for outstanding academic performance.

Her academic career includes teaching experience across both local and international institutions. She has served as a Teaching Assistant at SIIT and as a Lecturer (On-Contract) and  Demonstrator at the USJ.

Ms. Rupasinghe is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (AMIESL) and a registered Associate Engineer (AEng) with the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka.
