Entry Requirements

Minimum three (3) Simple passes (“S”) in any stream in the one sitting at the GCE (Advanced Level) Examination conducted by the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka or equivalent qualification.

Industrial Training

At SLTC, we believe that real-world exposure is essential to shaping well-rounded tourism professionals. The BSc (Hons) in Travel and Tourism Management places a strong emphasis on industry integration and experiential learning. To prepare students for the fast-paced tourism sector, we ensure that they are equipped not only with theoretical knowledge but also with the practical skills and industry awareness required to excel.

Students will engage in internships and training placements with top-tier local and international travel and hospitality organizations. These hands-on experiences allow them to work alongside professionals in areas such as tour operations, hotel management, destination marketing, airline services, etc. Field visits, live projects, and simulation-based training modules further strengthen their ability to adapt and lead in real tourism settings.
