She has joined as a Teaching Assistant in April 2023, attached to the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Technology, Sri Lanka Technological Campus, Padukka, Colombo, and has been serving there for 7 months now. Before that, She worked as a temporary lecturer at the Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, from Nov 2021 to Dec 2022. Then, she joined as a Research Assistant at the same department and worked for about 5 months. She is currently pursuing her Master of Crop Science at the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, with an anticipated completion in May. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2021, achieving a B.Sc. (Hons) in Agricultural Technology and Management with a CGPA of 3.62/4.00 from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Furthermore, she has gained valuable research experiences through undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, as well as her roles as a teaching assistant and research assistant, in soil science and crop science.
