Mr. Himaru Fernando is a probationary lecturer in the Department of Logistics and Operations at SLTC Research University. He joined the university in 2021 after completing his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Operations and Technology Management from the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) in Sri Lanka. Additionally, he is a passed finalist and Associate Management Accountant of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CMA) Sri Lanka.

Before joining SLTC Research University, Mr. Fernando worked as an executive in supply chain management at MAS Bodyline (Pvt) Ltd.
