On October 23rd, St. Joseph’s College transformed into a hub of innovation and discovery as it hosted Tecnotia ’24, an inspiring celebration of Science Day. The event brought together bright young minds, passionate educators, and distinguished guests to explore the wonders of science. The highlight of the day was the presence of the Guest of Honor, Dr. Nicoloy Gurusinghe from SLTC. Dr. Gurusinghe captivated the audience with his profound insights into modern scientific advancements, igniting curiosity and a love for innovation among students. An IFSLS knowledge-sharing workshop was conducted at the Colombo District Secretariat on the 19th of October, aimed at providing students with essential information about the Government’s Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme. The session brought together students from various backgrounds, offering them insights into how they can access this financial support to pursue higher education at private institutions like SLTC. SLTC representatives were present to guide the attendees, answering their questions and clarifying the application process.
