Empowering the Next Generation of Engineers!

The Pre-Engineering Workshop organized by the Future Lanka Research and Development Foundation (FLRDF) and SLTC in collaboration with the Department of Manpower and Employment brought together A/L students for an inspiring and insightful learning experience. Students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Dian Baduge, Founder of FLRDF, followed by engaging sessions conducted by Dr. Nicoloy Gurusinghe, Head of the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Dr. Chamith Chandrarathna, Head of the Department of Applied Electronics. Ms. Shanika Mayadunne (Director PES) of the Department of Manpower and Employment made a keynote as emphasizing the importance of technical career guidance. Enhancing the experience, students also had the opportunity to visit TRACE Expert City, Sri Lanka’s premier technology and innovation hub in Colombo, gaining first-hand exposure to the country’s thriving tech ecosystem.
