SLTC Research University and CBL Group Forge Landmark Partnership

SLTC Research University has entered into a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the CBL Group, covering all of their Strategic Business Units (SBUs). This collaboration aims to enhance student employability through internships, curriculum development, and strategic planning, paving the way for a stronger academia-industry connection. Key figures in the agreement included Mr. Dimuth Krishan De Alwis, Director of Corporate HR at CBL Group; Mr. Daham Gunasena, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Ceylon Biscuits Limited; and Ms. Shiranthi Abayakoon, Talent Acquisition Manager at CBL Group. SLTC was represented by Prof. Veranja Karunaratne, Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Rupasinghe Susantha, from the Office of Industry Liaisons at SLTC. The partnership also opens doors for SLTC students to participate in CBL’s upcoming market research initiatives, with further discussions led by Dr. Dimithri, Head of Business Management, under the guidance of Prof. W.
