We were honoured to welcome Prof. Marcelo Fabián from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), Spain, to Sri Lanka Technology Campus on 17th November 2025. His visit brought valuable insights into digital education, learning innovation, and international collaboration, areas that strongly align with SLTC’s vision for future-ready higher education.
During his interactions with our Vice Chancellor, Academic and administrative teams, Prof. Fabián shared inspiring perspectives on digital pedagogy, micro-credentials, and the evolving role of technology in shaping student-centred learning ecosystems. His experience in leading global capacity-building initiatives added immense value to our ongoing Erasmus+ and internationalization efforts.
This visit marks an important step toward deepening academic cooperation and exploring new opportunities for joint projects, and professional development for our staff.
