Strengthening global partnerships and shaping new academic pathways

We were honored to welcome Prof. Yun‑Song Lai (Sichuan Agricultural University, China) to SLTC. During his visit, a productive discussion was held with Prof. Chandrika Wijeyaratne, Vice Chancellor of SLTC, on expanding future collaborations in student and staff exchanges, as well as joint research initiatives. Marking a significant milestone, Prof. Yun-Song Lai has been appointed as an Honorary Professor at SAERC and SLTC from January 2026, and officially received his appointment letter from the Prof. Chandrika Wijeyaratne, Vice Chancellor of SLTC during the visit.
