Third-year BBM (Hons) Supply Chain Management and BBM (Hons) Operations Management students at SLTC had the opportunity to visit Advantis – 3PL Plus, Kelaniya as part of the Inventory & Warehouse Management module .
The visit provided students with firsthand exposure to key functions such as inbound handling, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch. They also observed how technology-driven solutions are integrated to optimize warehouse and distribution activities, alongside practices in health, safety, and sustainability. The experience allowed students to translate theory into practice, providing them with a more grounded appreciation of logistics operations.
