The Faculty of Business Management, in collaboration with the Staff Development Center of SLTC, successfully conducted an insightful workshop on “Mastering Research Supervision, Examination, and Review” for the academic members of SLTC on 16th October 2025 at the Trace Expert City Campus.
The session was led by Professor (Chair) Tharusha Gooneratne, Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo, and Senior Professor (Chair) Arosha S. Adikaram, Department of Human Resources Management, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo.
The session focused on key areas and real challenges faced by supervisors, examiners, and reviewers. It highlighted how to guide and evaluate research effectively while maintaining ethical standards in academia.
