Our final-year BBM (Hons) Supply Chain Management & Operations Management students had the privilege of visiting Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) as part of their Import and Export Management module.
The field visit offered students a unique opportunity to experience air cargo operations, an essential link in the global supply chain that ensures the smooth flow of goods across international borders. By observing cargo handling processes in action, students were able to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical industry insights in real-world logistics.
