An IFSLS knowledge-sharing workshop was conducted at the Colombo District Secretariat on the 19th of October, aimed at providing students with essential information about the Government’s Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme. The session brought together students from various backgrounds, offering them insights into how they can access this financial support to pursue higher education at private institutions like SLTC.
SLTC representatives were present to guide the attendees, answering their questions and clarifying the application process. The workshop emphasized the benefits of the scheme, including the opportunity to study without the burden of upfront tuition fees, allowing students to focus on their academic and career aspirations.
