On July 3, 2024, the National Defence College held its third Diners’ Club event, focusing on science and technology for NS&SS Course 3/2024 participants. Senior Professor Veranja Karunaratne, Vice Chancellor of SLTC Research University and Chairman of the National Science and Technology Commission, delivered a keynote on ‘Advanced Technologies and their Applications.’ His insights highlighted the transformative impact of cutting-edge technologies across various industries.
The event also featured contributions from Professor Pradeep Kalansuriya of Kotelawala Defence University, Professor Dilushan R. Jayasundara of the University of Colombo, Dr. Nuwan de Silva from the Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology, and Mr. Chathura Kotagama, Chief Strategy Officer at SLTC Research University.
