BSc (Hons) in E-Tourism and Digital Marketing
The BSc (Hons) in E-Tourism and Digital Marketing is a degree that focuses on modern tourism using digital tools. It covers topics like digital media, mobile marketing, online reputation, e-branding, improving online visibility, managing social media, and handling e-commerce.
This programme is designed to provide valuable insights into understanding the direction of the future of E-Tourism, along with measures to be employed to stay ahead of the competition. Students will get practical experience using different tools and software that help improve a business’s presence online, like making websites show up higher on search engines (SEO), creating online ads, and using web technologies that are important for tourism and digital marketing from reputed industry partners.
Internships play a vital role in the curriculum and are carried out in partnership with recognised organizations in the industry. Graduates of this programme will engage in rigorous research exposure alongside the faculty and work with the industry on various projects throughout their study period.

PROGRAMME CURRICULUM
The E-Tourism and Digital Marketing degree program at SLTC is a four-year undergraduate program that covers a broad range of topics in the fields of E-Tourism and Digital Marketing. The curriculum includes courses in E Tourism: Development and Techniques, Web Technologies for Tourism and Digital Marketing, Online Positioning in Search Engines (SEO), Social Media and Content Marketing in Tourism, Digital Advertising, Management Information System, Hospitality Management, Travel Operations, Organisational Behaviour and Tourism Destination Management.
In addition to the below-listed modules, the Winning Edge Undergraduate Skill Development Programme of SLTC is offered to students to produce multitalented professionals equipped with the necessary skills and competencies on the four skills of communication: Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening, in English medium.
The modules are conducted in four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, based on the competency level of the students. At the start of the Winning Edge Undergraduate Skill Development Programme, students are placed into one of four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum, based on their current English communication skills in writing, speaking, reading, and listening. The programme guides students to improve step-by-step until they reach the Platinum level. Completion of the Platinum Level is a mandatory requirement for graduation.

Payment and Refund Policy
1 . Refunds – Registration Fee/ Down Payment/ Semester Payments
1.1. Students are eligible for a refund of their registration fee/down payment only if they do not meet the following entry criteria. All refunds must be requested within one year.
a) Minimum three (3) ‘simple passes’ (S) in any stream in one sitting at the GCE Advanced Level Examination conducted by the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka or equivalent.
b) If a paid student is selected to follow the degree under the MOHE loan scheme within the first semester
c) A qualified Doctor’s recommendation is given to the student, that the student is unable to participate in academic activities due to mental or physical conditions.
1.2. University Semester fees are refunded only when a student fails the GCE Advanced Level examination. In all other cases, students must pay the semester fee.
1.3. If a student gets selected to MOHE after the 1st Semester completion, the university will not refund the paid amount but will allow them to continue the degree as MOHE students.
2 . Invoicing
2.1. Invoices are raised based on the time of registration, prevailing discount schemes, and timing of the payment scheme selected by the student. Further, all invoices must be settled within the specified period mentioned on the invoice.
3 . Penalties
3.1. Management may charge penalty charges based on the late payment dates and the penalty rates will be changed based on the discretion of the management.
