Mr.Udara Rathnayake, a Lecturer in Fashion and Textile Technology at SLTC Research University. His academic journey includes a B.Des (Hons) in Fashion Designing & Product Development and a PG. Diploma in Textile and Clothing Management, both obtained from the University of Moratuwa’s Engineering Faculty. Currently, He is on track to complete his M.Sc. in Textile and Clothing Management from the same esteemed institution. With over five years of university teaching experience spanning from 2018 to 2023 at Open University Sri Lanka, Univotech, and SLTC Research University, He offers a unique blend of academic and industry insights. His research interests are diverse, covering areas such as Fashion Marketing, new product innovation, Sustainability, Pattern making, design, dyeing and finishing, Fashion Psychology, and textile technology. Mr. Udara Rathnayake is passionate about imparting knowledge and nurturing the next generation of professionals in the fashion and textile industry.
