Ms. Sanduni Amarakoon joined the School of music as a violin demonstrator. She is awaiting her final results of the BPA (Hons) in music from the University of the Visual and Performing Arts. She is a versatile violinist of her generation currently working as the concertmaster of the Gustav Maher Orchestra of Colombo which is one of the leading orchestras based in Sri Lanka. Sanduni also holds the diplomas of performing for violin named, ATCL and ARSM from two music schools. She has also pursued Oriental music and completed the Bhatkande Visharad Exams with distinction. Apart from music Sanduni also hold a BA in English Honours with a second Upper division.
