Rushikala Thusharini joined SLTC Research University in 2023 and currently working as a teaching assistant to the Department of Environmental Technology. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Applied Sciences from University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2022. Currently, she is reading her Master of Science in Industrial Analytical Chemistry at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. In addition to her academic pursuits, she worked as a researcher in Industrial Technology Institute at Herbal Technology Section (2021-2022). Her research interests are analytical and environmental chemistry, natural product biochemistry, nanobiotechnology for drug delivery/pharmaceutical applications.
