Kusala Munasinghe joined SLTC Research University in 2020 and currently working as a probationary lecturer attached to the Department of Telecommunication Engineering. She received her Bachelor of Engineering degree (Hons.) in electronics and telecommunication engineering, in 2017 from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. She is currently pursuing the Doctor of Philosophy degree with the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. From 2018 to 2020, she worked as a Graduate Research Assistant of National Research Council of Sri Lanka. Her research interests include optical communications, network optimization, and machine learning.
