Mr. Kavinda Tharindu joined the Data Science Department at Sri Lanka Technology Campus as a Teaching Assistant. He has recently completed his BSc (Hons) in Data Science at the same campus. Kavinda gained practical experience during his 6-month internship at Evoastra Ventures Pvt. Ltd. in India, where he worked as a Data Science Intern. His internship allowed him to deepen his knowledge in areas such as data analysis, machine learning, and model development. He is particularly interested in utilizing data to address real-world challenges and uncover actionable insights. Currently, Kavinda is focused on furthering his expertise in data science and looks forward to supporting students in their academic and professional development in the field.
