Dr. K.E.D. Sumanasiri is a Senior Lecturer attached to the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at SLTC. He obtained B.Sc. Eng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Peradeniya in 1984. He otained MEng (1993), PhD (1995) from the Katholieke Unversiteit Leuven, Belgium based on the work on Glass and ceramic matrix composites. He Served as Senior lecturer and Head of the Department University of Peradeniya, Papua New Guinea University of Technology, and Dean, IESL College of Engineering before joining SLTC in 2019.
