Chanika Dayarathna works as a lecturer at SLTC Research University. She earned her BSc (special) degree in Mathematics at the University of Jaffna and her Master of Science Degree in Industrial Mathematics at the University of Peradeniya. Before joining as an academic at SLTC Research University, she worked as a temporary Instructor at Department of Mathematics, University of Jaffna in 2020 and 2021. Her research interests include First order KKT conditions for quadratic problems with mixed variables , Modeling on Effect of Particle Sediment on Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer of Solid–Fluid Suspension.
