Dr. Achintha Madhusanka is an accomplished academic and researcher in mechatronics and intelligent systems. He graduated from the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Technology Honours in Mechatronics Engineering, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Student in Mechatronics Engineering. He earned his Master of Science in Industrial Automation from the University of Moratuwa in 2017. He completed his PhD in Informatics at the Malaysian University of Science and Technology (MUST) in 2022. His research focuses on service robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence, with a particular interest in their integration for practical, real-world applications. With over 13 years of academic experience, he is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at OUSL. In addition, he holds the position of Consultant (Senior Lecturer) of the Department of Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering at the Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC).
