MASTER OF SCIENCE IN ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING (MSC IN ECE)
Offered by the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies & Research, this programme provides advanced knowledge and practical skills in key areas of electronics and communications, including wireless and optical communications, signal processing, embedded systems, automation, and power electronics.
The programme features three exit options to suit different academic and professional goals:
- Postgraduate Diploma – 1 year (SLQF 08)
- Master of Engineering – 1.5 years (SLQF 09)
- Master of Science – 2 years (SLQF 10)
Courses are delivered by SLTC’s academic staff and leading visiting lecturers from top state universities. Graduates will gain the technical expertise, research capability, and professional skills required to excel in R&D, industry, and academia.

Eligibility Criteria
General intake
(a) Any Engineering degree, equivalent to SLQF level 6 or above, recognized by University Grants Commission or Ministry in charge of the subject of Higher Education;Â
or
(b) Any recognized category of membership of a recognized Professional Institute in a relevant field obtained through an academic route and minimum one year (01) of experience.
