SLTC University proudly hosted the Future Tech & Innovation Summit 2026 at the university’s main auditorium with the participation of undergraduate students, academic staff, technology professionals, and invited guests from leading companies in Sri Lanka.
The summit focused on the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, software engineering, cloud computing, and digital entrepreneurship.
Throughout the event, participants attended keynote speeches, technical sessions, and interactive discussions conducted by industry experts and university lecturers. Several innovative student projects and research concepts were also showcased during the exhibition session.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Lalith Gamage emphasized the importance of innovation-driven education and encouraged students to develop practical technological solutions for future global challenges.
The event concluded with an award ceremony recognizing outstanding student innovators and contributors. Participants also received certificates for attending the summit.
SLTC University plans to continue organizing similar technology-focused events to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry while promoting creativity and innovation among students.
