MWP Maduranga (Senior Member, IEEE) is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Data Science, the Faculty of Computing & IT, Sri Lanka Technology Campus (SLTC), Sri Lanka. He received his B.Sc. Eng. in Electronic Engineering from the School of Engineering, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, in 2013, his M.Sc. Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2017, and his Ph.D. from the IIC University of Technology, Kingdom of Cambodia, in 2022. Before joining SLTC, he was a full-time faculty member at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, the University of Vocational Technology, and the University of Moratuwa. In 2018, he was a visiting research student at the Bangkok University Center of Research in Optoelectronics, Communications, and Computational Systems (BU-CROCCS), Thailand. He received the Engineering Charter in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the Engineering Council, UK, in 2020. He has co-authored several indexed journal and conference papers and has served as a reviewer and technical program committee member for many international conferences, including IEEE R-10 conferences. His current research interests include Machine Learning for Wireless Communication, Indoor Localization, and AI/ML-based IoT applications.
